How to Access our Support

Our goal is to connect registered Canadian rescues, shelters, and/or wildlife rehabilitation groups with transportation options. Please help us save the lives of innocent animals, one flight at a time!

If you are pilot interested in volunteering please click on the Volunteer Forum link, and click on “Register.” A transport coordinator will contact you shortly to answer your questions and get you started on your first life saving flight!

Are you a registered Canadian shelter that has a companion animal that needs to find a new forever home, but needs more exposure to increase its chance of adoption?

Are you a registered Canadian rescue involved in rehabilitating and fostering stray companion animals, but face the daunting task of transporting them to their new, and far away, forever homes? Or are you working in a remote community, and need assistance bringing animals into safety?

Maybe you are a registered wildlife rehabilitation group, and have an injured or ill animal that needs to be transported to specialized care in another region?

PNPC Animal Rescue/Canadian Wings of Rescue are here to serve you! The first step is to register at our Forum. The second step is to begin a conversation with our transport coordinator, who will contact you, to explore the nature of your request, and how we might be able to assist you.

Transport Coordinators will familiarize you with our safety protocols, and then begin problem solving. We do have strict regulations around transporting animals, in order to prevent the spread of disease, and protect both the pilots’ own personal animals, and the receiving foster or rescue group to whom the animal is headed. Our goal is to assist you in bringing as many animals to safety as possible – even when you might think you face an impossible circumstance. We invite you to begin the process by registering with us, and then watch the magic unfold.

Please note: our mandate, as a federal charity, is focused upon supporting Canadian animal welfare organizations. As a result, we are restricted from conducting flights that cross international borders, and from importing animals from outside of Canada.

Volunteers can help out in a variety of ways:

PETSCORTS: Be a Canadian Wings of Rescue PETSCORT. PETSCORTS share their commercial flight with an animal in need, who is booked as passage on their ticket. It’s the easiest volunteering you’ll ever do. It won’t cost you any money, or time – all you do is share a flight you were already taking. Sit back and enjoy your flight, knowing you helped save a life.

To sign up, email us at: pnpc.petscort@pnpcanimalrescue.ca or visit us at www.facbook.com/PETSCORTS

Volunteers can also help promote the charity at specific events in your area. If you are interested in helping out, please register at the Volunteer Forum. A board member will follow up with you to answer questions.
